About Us
Sustainability
As a company we have a sustainability ethos which extends to our suppliers and manufacturers. All of our products are either sustainable or recyclable.
With the Eternal, Eternity and A Place in my Heart ranges we made a decision to source and manufacture within the UK including the material being used for all our paper products and packaging boxes.
We are helping to support businesses and jobs within the UK.
Our courier service provider is Royal Mail, our choice was influenced by the fact they have recently committed to adding 3,000 electric vehicles to their existing fleet, aligning with our green policy.
Goals and Aspirations
It is our company policy to recruit staff from the local area and have gained accreditation from the YPG (Young Persons Guarantee Scheme) to employ young people in the business. With one staff member employed through this scheme currently we hope to increase staffing on a regular basis.
We are currently working towards a Net Carbon Zero Accreditation.
In addition we are offering business opportunities to join The Memory Boxes Company as an Introducer.
Manufacturing
As part of our agreement with our manufacturers they have put policies in place to evolve in line with our own sustainability ethos going forward.
Suppliers
The suppliers of our recyclable presentation and postal boxes have aligned with our sustainability and recycling policy.
Charity
The Memory Boxes Company will be donating memory boxes to selected charities supporting child bereavement and miscarriage.
